Busy Summer in Store for Mission del Lago

The first planned community in Southside San Antonio, Mission del Lago has been among the metro area’s fastest-growing and best-selling communities for almost a decade. Complete with great parks, playgrounds and pool & clubhouse, Mission del Lago welcomes outdoor activities for the whole family and four-legged friends.

Recreational Spaces Brings Neighbors Together

The pool and clubhouse are bustling with families seeking relief from the summer heat. With connections to the Medina River Greenway and the Mission Reach Trails, there’s ample opportunity to enjoy nature close to home.

The community’s soccer field is a great place for an evening pick-up game, and those who want to work on their serve or their jump shot can do so on the tennis and basketball courts.

Casual and avid golfers alike are enjoying the nearby Mission Del Lago golf course, part of the Alamo City Golf Trail system. The full 18-hole course provides a challenge for golfers of any experience level, while the large putting green, chipping course, and driving range offer chances to practice. The golf course’s Rockin’ G Grill has also been called a hidden gem.

Mission del Lago’s Neighbors Together cookout provided residents the opportunity to connect while enjoying food and each other’s company. Children enjoyed the bouncy house and a DJ to soundtrack the event.
