Empire Extending BTR Domain to New Braunfels

The Empire Group, a prodigious builder of built-to-rent communities has acquired 20 acres in New Braunfels to build another rental community. The parcel is slated for approximately 215 build-for-rent units within the Mayfair development.  The Mayfair master-planned community, allows for 6,000 residential units consisting of single family, multifamily, townhomes, build-to-rent, and more; with more than 220 acres identified for commercial, mixed-use and employment centers.

Empire is one of the nation’s leading developers of single-family build-for-rent communities. Amenities within the Village at Mayfair will include a resort style pool, spa, club house, fitness center, barbeque area, dog park, garage and covered parking, etc. Each residence will have private fenced outdoor space and will feature 9-10-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, walk-in closets and the latest in smart home technology.

Construction of Empire Group’s Village at Mayfair is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023 with the first units completing by late 2024.
