Rapid growth in areas like Southside San Antonio and New Braunfels, Texas, creates a critical need for diverse housing options. VIDA San Antonio and Mayfair, two of Southstar’s South Texas communities, are thoughtfully designed to offer a wide range of housing choices that support the evolving needs of these fast-growing regions.

Los Arcos at VIDA is not only VIDA’s first apartment complex, but also the first in the city to be funded in part by a 2022 San Antonio voter-approved affordable housing bond. The Judy at VIDA, a senior community planned by the San Antonio Housing Trust, will introduce 90 income-restricted units specifically programmed for independent living.

At Mayfair in New Braunfels, buyers can choose single-family homes— cottages just over 1,000 square feet to 4,000-square-foot homes—all built by eight highly decorated homebuilders.

Rental options coming soon to Mayfair include The Residence at Mayfair for apartments ranging in size from one to three bedrooms. Through a unique partnership with Empire Communities, there will also be single-family homes available for rent within the gated Village at Mayfair, complete with its own amenities.
