The Greater San Antonio Home Builders Association recognized VIDA San Antonio among the top ten fastest growing communities in the greater San Antonio region, and top 2 in South San Antonio for 2023.
Community Development Update
Homes are underway in Phases 1 and 2 in VIDA, featuring an array of floorplans, sizes and price ranges. Lot development work is underway in Phase 3 of VIDA, close to the Texas A&M campus and new University Health hospital and VIDA health clinic. Additional parks will be installed this spring in Phase 2, adding to the community trail and open space areas.
University Health Hospital and VIDA Clinic Now Under Construction
Construction on University Health Palo Alto hospital and the University Health VIDA is now underway.
The hospital will feature a 24/7 emergency room, labor and delivery unit, pharmacy, neonatal intensive care, and chronic and acute care services. VIDA clinic will offer traditional non-emergency healthcare services as well as wellness care programming to foster health in the community. This will include nutritional and cooking classes and more.
These regional healthcare facilities located within VIDA will provide access to state of the art healthcare, jobs and career opportunities for thousands, while offering wellness education and care for residents across the South Texas region.
VIDA’s First HOA Meeting
One year after its first residents moved in, VIDA hosted its first annual Homeowners Association meeting this month. Thanks to all who joined us for lunch and conversation, and watch your HOA newsletter for upcoming community events.
Art at VIDA
Watch for an announcement next month of the artist chosen to create the first public art at VIDA. Thanks to all on the VIDA Arts Council who have worked tirelessly to select the first of many art installations in the community.
